Found this V10 Plus with Tennessee plates parked in front of a spa store at Birkdale Village about a month ago. Still not a big fan of these new R8s, but it had been a long time since I'd seen one, so it was pretty cool to break that streak. I've posted a couple other exotics from this plaza, but this is probably my best spotting here as of yet.

@NCspotter. Outstanding shots Nick! This car is truly a car that you can live with on a daily basis. She is amazing on, and off the race track. I really would choose this car over a regular Huracan. Plus it's easier to get in, and out of if you have a fat A$$ like me Ha,ha. When I seen that you posted up a shot I was thinking it could be that rare Italian car that you told me about. Not that I am disappointed in this cool R8! Now I will be anxiously waiting for the Italian desert brother lol.

@Horse-Power thanks West! Somehow this is only the second current-gen R8 I've spotted (I posted the first one I saw, a bright orange one, about a year ago). I did manage to catch another one later that week, which was silver and also a V10 Plus. It is pretty amazing how far exotic cars have come in terms of comfort and driveability. It wasn't too long ago that you'd have to be a little crazy to daily drive something of this caliber, but now, aside from maybe some of the track-focused specials, you can really just hop in and drive any modern exotic anywhere in complete comfort. That said, my first exotic will be one of the most hardcore of them all, a Lotus Elise haha. I don't know if you've ever sat in one, but with the roof on it's like trying to get in and out of the window of a normal car! Anyway I believe this was my 114th spot, and given how special the Italian is, I will probably try to save it for either my 125th or 150th upload. I've got several really cool cars competing for those spots haha. I'll try to get one more post up before I leave for Charlotte later today; I hope to get one or two more spotting runs in before the year ends, and with my recent luck maybe I'll catch something even crazier!

@NCspotter. Hi Nick. I have driven a Elise, and an Exige, and let me tell you getting in that Exige was a miracle, getting out of was a nightmare and something that I would not want to do again either in a private setting or much worse in at a QT gas station like I had to do Ha,ha. I am really exited for you on that Italian car that your going to use for a well deserved milestone post. What ever it maybe I bet seeing it was something of biblical magnitude lol. Anyways brother I hope your Christmas shopping is done, and over with? I have escaped Atlanta and arrived in Miami yesterday to 85 degree weather. Today was simply perfect with 77 degrees with no humidity. I decided to spend the Holiday with my parents. I seen that you spotted another AMG GTC so well done on that, and I will head over there to check out your pics. Talk with you on Xmas buddy.

@Horse-Power I think with every sports car, getting in and out comfortably just takes time to get to know the car. I've seen a few videos of Elise owners who were practically jumping in and out of their cars lol. I've also sat in a 918 Spyder before, and the large gap between the seat and the door due to the carbon tub made getting in and out of it also pretty difficult. The weather has been decent here this weekend, and I did spot another quality exotic on Saturday that I'll try to post up here before long. I'll be back home hopefully by midweek. Anyway I hope your drive to Miami was an uneventful one and I'll talk with you later. Hope you have a merry Christmas!

@NCspotter. Hi Nick as great as I am behind the wheel of a performance car, I know I should be at a respectable weight before attempting to get into such a small car like those Lotus models Ha,ha. The Evora is a lot easier for me though.lol. So thanks Brother for attempting to making me feel better about my size. Miami has been great since arriving, especially weather wise so I will miss that the most. ( Besides my parents ) I will be jumping on a plane after I visit West Palm Beach. I really hope Xmas was a great one for you, and your family? I will be looking forward to your next post. Be safe, and I will talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power Lotuses definitely aren't for the faint of heart! Cool to hear that you're back in Florida, and I hope you catch even more stuff to close out the year. I know if there's anywhere you'll spot a Ford GT, it'll be in Miami or Palm Beach! We had a great Christmas and hope you did as well. Take care and I'll talk with you later.

@Horse-Power I really hope you catch one! Although whatever you spot this weekend, I'm sure it will be epic! You're correct, the car I spotted was a McLaren, a white 570S, and I'll try to get it posted up in the next day or two. It will be my first 570S posted (somehow).
