Here's another fun fact about The Peninsula's iconic green Rolls-Royces. They even have a connection to James Bond. In the 1974 movie The Man with the Golden Gun, Bond encounters a green Rolls-Royce at The Peninsula Hong Kong, leading to the famous line: "Everyone knows all the green Rolls-Royces belong to The Peninsula". The original cars are long gone of course, but the colorful tradition lives on today with The Peninsula's fleet of Peninsula Green Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the ones here in Shanghai.
